Dimaag-EV is a Tier 1 supplier of electric vehicle systems focused on designing and building battery modules and packs (including swappables), inverters, motors, and ultra-fast DC charging systems up to 1 MW. Key Responsibilities
• Analyze user needs and develop software solutions, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis.
• Conceptualize, design, develop, test, validate, and deploy software systems for electric vehicle technologies, such as motor-control, electric vehicle charging, and applications.
• Design, implement, and debug embedded software for vehicle control, battery management, and power conversion systems, leveraging industry-standard programming languages including C/C++.
• Contribute to the architectural design of embedded systems, including firmware, communication protocols, and integration to meet performance, safety, and reliability requirements.
• Develop software for real-time operating systems, optimize task scheduling and resource utilization for time-critical applications in vehicle control and battery management.
This position does not supervise any personnel or participate in any management decisions, nor does this position plan, direct or coordinate the activities of any personnel.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or any related field of study, plus at least five (5) years of post-degree, progressively responsible experience in the job offered or in any related position(s).
Qualified applicants must also have demonstrable proficiency, skill, experience, and knowledge with the following:
1. Software development
2. Firmware development
3. Embedded Software development for automotive or similar real-time systems.
4. C, C++ programming in real-time operating systems
5. Real-time operating systems, software architecture, and communication protocols.
6. ARM processors and familiarity with ARM development tools.
7. Debug electronic circuit boards at both the hardware and software levels, using tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and JTAG debuggers.
Other Information
This role is in Fremont, CA. Remote candidates with flexibility to be in Fremont as and when necessary, depending on project schedule and integration requirements will also be considered.
